About Me

I grew up in Hartford, Northwich attending Hartford Primary School, Hartford High School & Sir John Deane’s College.

Afterwhich, gained a Food Science BSc Degree from Leeds University & a Postgraduate Diploma in Information & Library Management from Liverpool John Moores University.

I have worked for companies such as AstraZeneca & Cadbury (& yes I did receive free chocolate)!

I have extensive knowledge of most subjects up to & including iGCSE & GCSE: Maths, Further Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Business Studies, Geography, History, Sociology, Food Preparation & Technology, RS, PE & Sports Studies.

I am clear & methodical during explanations & enjoy solving problems.

I focus on both content & past exam papers: providing detailed answers beyond the scope of mark schemes.

My greatest reward is when students reach their full potential, being relieved from anxiety surrounding academia & able to continue on their next journey: whether it be in education, as an apprentice or employee.

I hold extensive knowledge of surrounding schools & colleges & welcome all students including SEND from Y4 up to & including GCSE.

I have two daughters who attended The Grange & Cransley Schools, Priestley College, Sir John Deane’s College & Exeter University.

Interests include: travel, sightseeing, restaurants, national trusts, swimming & other fitness activities at David Lloyd; walking our two Cavapoos & gardening.
